FAQs
Start by submitting a training inquiry. We’ll review your dog’s information, discuss your goals and determine whether Guardian Foundations is the right fit.
Because we accept only one Stay & Train client at a time, advance planning is encouraged.
For the privacy and safety of our home and the dogs currently in our care, we don’t offer in-home tours. Meet & Greets take place in our enclosed front yard, where we can discuss your dog’s needs, routines and the program in detail.
Possibly. We’ll discuss your dog’s history, triggers and goals during the assessment to determine whether Guardian Foundations is appropriate. Some concerns may be better addressed through private Working Sessions or veterinary behavior support.
Yes! Your involvement is essential. The transition lesson and continued practice at home are important parts of the program.
Every dog learns at a different pace. Our goal is to establish skills, build clarity and give you the tools to continue making progress. We don’t guarantee specific behavioral outcomes or promise that training ends when your dog returns home.
Not necessarily. We continue to provide our regular boarding and daycare services, but accept only one dedicated Stay & Train client at a time. Interactions with other dogs are carefully managed based on safety, temperament and training goals.
We specialize in:
- Dog Boarding (cape not required)
- Daycare (with structured socialization & enrichment)
- Walks & Drop-ins (when your pup needs a patrol partner)
- Training Add-ons (Board & Train program coming soon—because even heroes need guidance!)
Absolutely! While we provide cozy hero hideouts and comfy quarters, we welcome familiar items that make your pup feel at home in their batcave.
Yes! Before your dog joins the League, we require a quick meet & greet to make sure they’re a good fit for our dynamic pack.
We operate in the South Bay of Los Angeles—serving pups across Torrance, Redondo Beach, Palos Verdes, and the greater Gotham-esque coastline.
We’re not your average daycare—we’re a safe house for sidekicks, a training ground for future heroes, and a second home where your dog is part of the inner circle. Whether you’ve got a barky Batman, a shy Robin, or a wild Harley Quinn on your hands, we meet them where they’re at—with patience, love, and consistency.
📲 Got questions? The signal’s lit.
Let’s schedule a meet & greet and see if your pup’s ready to join the Gotham crew.
We’ll call you immediately and get your pup the care they need—either with your vet (if close by) or a trusted local clinic. Your dog is family, and we treat them that way.
Minor scuffs can happen during playtime, but serious incidents are rare. We do everything possible to maintain a calm, safe, and supervised environment.
Our play zones are cleaned and disinfected daily with pet-safe products. Clean lair, happy dogs.
We’re a boutique-style operation based out of our home, which means small group sizes and tons of personal attention. We book based on compatibility and always tailor the day’s crew for safety and harmony.
A sleepy, happy, satisfied sidekick. It’s normal for pups to be extra thirsty or take an early bedtime after a full day of adventure.
We try to include at least one walk a day–as our schedule allows, especially for pups who need one-on-one connection or who prefer sniffari time over group play. But trust us—they’ll be tuckered out either way.
Short answer: Play, nap, zoom, repeat. Longer answer: Your pup will enjoy supervised playtime with a pack of friendly dogs, structured activities, walks (if they’re up for it), and plenty of belly rubs. All under our watchful eyes.
Yes—just make sure it’s at least 60 minutes before drop-off to avoid any upset stomachs or bloating. Let us know if they’ve eaten recently, and we’ll adjust their activities accordingly. Safety first, always.
Some dogs love daily action, while others only need part-time patrol. Young and high-energy dogs? A few times a week might be ideal. Seniors or introverts? Maybe just once or twice to keep them in hero shape. We can help you find your dog’s sweet spot.
Doggy daycare is more than just a drop-off zone. It’s a structured environment full of socialization, mental stimulation, physical activity, and tail-wagging enrichment. It can reduce boredom, separation anxiety, and destructive behaviors—because even the best heroes need a good mission (or a squeaky toy).
We specialize in dogs but are happy to discuss other pets (cats, bunnies, chickens—we’ve seen it all). Just ask.
Of course. Accidents happen. We clean up messes, maintain food/water areas, and keep things tidy. We leave your home as we found it—or better.
We treat your home with respect and discretion. We’ll discuss access, alarms, cameras, and routines during our meet & greet. Trust is everything—your secret identity is safe with us.
Some dogs are more comfortable on their home turf—especially seniors, anxious pups, or dogs who aren’t super social. It’s ideal for multi-pet households or dogs who just want to lounge in their favorite sunny spot while you’re away.
You bet. We send daily photos or videos so you can see your hero in action—or catching some Zs after a long day of crime-fighting (read: zooming).

We keep our pack small—quality over quantity, so everyone gets hero-level attention. Compatibility is key, and safety is non-negotiable.
We consider puppies under 1 year old.
We understand that some pups take time to warm up! During our Meet & Greet, we’ll assess whether your dog will feel comfortable in our environment. If your pup needs extra time or a slow introduction, we’ll discuss the best approach with you.

Use our Meet & Greet Form to start your mission. We’ll review your pup’s secret identity (aka their info), and then contact you to confirm a plan fit for a superhero.
Yes and no.
Dogs are never left unattended during play, rest, or feeding times. We provide constant supervision when the dogs are interacting to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
However, we do step out of the house from time to time, in which case everyone will be safely separated.
We accept non-fixed dogs on a case-by-case basis, but females in heat cannot stay with us. If your dog exhibits dominant or aggressive behaviors, we may not be the best fit.
Your dog’s health and safety are our top priority! If any medical concerns arise, we will contact you immediately, follow emergency protocols, and, if necessary, take them to their designated vet or an emergency clinic.
At this time, we do not offer in-home tours, but we require a Meet & Greet in our backyard to ensure a good fit for your pup before confirming any bookings.
Yes! All dogs must be up-to-date on their Rabies, Distemper/Parvo (DHPP), and Bordetella (Kennel Cough), Canine Influenza, and Leptospirosis vaccinations. Proof of vaccination is required before your dog’s stay.
Please bring your dog’s food (pre-portioned or labeled), medication (if applicable), crate (if applicable) and any comfort items like a blanket, favorite toy, or even approved treats!. We provide bedding, bowls, and plenty of love!
