At Gotham Good Dogs, we run on structure, trust, and transparency—just like any well-oiled superhero team. That’s why all drop-offs and pick-ups are by appointment only. Our HQ (aka our home) is active, and while we may step out for a mission here and there (coffee counts), we’ll always work with you to coordinate mutually convenient times.

When requesting a booking, let us know what pick-up and drop-off times work best for your schedule, and we’ll present you with a few “mission window” options to choose from.

Life (and flights) happens. We totally understand. All we ask is for clear communication. If your return runs later than expected, let us know ASAP. If it gets too late, we may require an overnight stay with next-day pick-up (additional charges may apply). Either way—we’ll coordinate with care.

Think of this as your pup’s superhero screening—where we assess temperament, energy, and fit for our crew. Our resident interviewer, McGinnis the Ridgeback GSD, takes his job very seriously (okay, he mostly just wants belly rubs and sniff checks, but still).

For the health and safety of everyone in our pack, we require all dogs to be up to date on their vaccines. (The only exception is written vet documentation advising against a particular vaccine due to age or medical condition.)

• DPP with Adenovirus (Distemper, Parvovirus & Parainfluenza) – 1 or 3-year
• Bordetella – Required at least 48 hours before check-in
• Rabies – 1 or 3-year
• Canine Influenza (both H3N8 and H3N2)
• Leptospirosis
  

💉 Pro Tip: We prefer vaccines be administered 10–14 days prior to your pup’s stay for maximum protection.

🐜 Flea Prevention – Ensure your sidekick is current on flea prevention.
🔖 ID Tags – All pups must wear current ID tags, even if microchipped.

🐶 Dog Park Detox: Please minimize dog park, dog beach, or large boarding facility visits before your pup’s stay with us. If your dog is experiencing symptoms like sneezing, coughing, or discharge from eyes/nose—please notify us ASAP and postpone the stay until they’ve been cleared by a vet.

Our home base in Torrance is fully fenced and built for fun, safety, and structured socialization. Dogs in our care enjoy:

• A spacious backyard for daytime play
• Supervised interactions based on energy and personality
• Indoor sleeping arrangements (no outdoor overnights—ever!)
• Crate sleeping available upon request
• Personalized updates and total transparency

We do accept last-minute booking requests—but typically only for our trusted returning clients (aka those with an established working relationship). If you're new, we’d love to build that relationship starting with a free, no-obligation Meet & Greet.

For the safety, privacy, and comfort of both myself and my clients, house-sitting services can only be provided when the home is not being shared with individuals outside of the client’s household during the scheduled stay.

We are unable to provide overnight house-sitting services while Airbnb/short-term rental guests, houseguests, contractors, other pet care providers, or other third parties are staying in or occupying any portion of the property, even when separate living spaces or entrances are provided.

Any planned occupancy or access to the property during a house-sitting reservation must be disclosed and discussed with us in advance. This policy helps ensure a safe, secure, and clearly defined environment for everyone involved.
