Imagine your dog spending their stay learning valuable life skills in a real home environment—with structure, consistency, individualized attention and plenty of opportunities to practice.
That's Guardian Foundations.
Unlike traditional boarding, Guardian Foundations is a dedicated Stay & Train experience designed to help dogs develop stronger habits, clearer communication and practical everyday skills.
We accept only one Guardian Foundations dog at a time, allowing us to focus on their individual goals while integrating training into daily life.
Your dog won't simply practice skills during isolated training sessions. They'll have opportunities to apply what they're learning throughout normal routines, walks, rest periods and appropriately managed interactions.
And because the relationship that matters most is the one your dog shares with YOU, every program includes human coaching and a personalized transition plan.
This isn't about creating a perfect dog. It's about building a better partnership.
What Training Will We Work On?
- Leash manners and communication
- Recall foundations
- Household boundaries
- Impulse control and settling
- Crate routines and independence
- Confidence-building
- Engagement and responsiveness
- Appropriate social skills and neutrality around distractions

The Human Side of Training
Dogs learn through consistency, communication and repetition. And the progress they make with us needs to continue when they return home.
That's why owner participation isn't optional—it's part of the program.
Every Guardian Foundations experience includes a transition lesson where we'll demonstrate what your dog has learned, coach you through the techniques and help you understand how to continue practicing at home.
Because success isn't simply having a dog who listens to the trainer.
It's having a dog and human who understand each other better.

Why Only One Dog at a Time?
While your dog may share our home environment with carefully selected boarding and daycare guests, their training program receives dedicated attention, planning and structured practice. We don't believe in rushing dogs through a one-size-fits-all training schedule. We believe in understanding the dog in front of us.
